What a menu is.
A Curate-a-Party menu is a hosting blueprint. Each one ships with:
- Six to eight small-bite recipes, scaled for a six-to-twelve-person table
- Three to five drink pairings drawn from Speakeater's cocktail catalog
- Plating and serving notes (what goes on what, when to put it out, what holds and what doesn't)
- A shopping list, aisle-grouped, walk-order organized
- A timing sheet that walks you from "two days out" to "guests at the door"
You don't have to decide what to make. You don't have to invent a theme. The menu is the curation, and the catalog covers the most common reasons people host.
The 50 launch menus.

Are the recipes inside the menu also in the main catalog?
Most are. The menu wraps them in a hosting structure (timing, plating, drink pairings) that's not in the standalone recipe view. A few are exclusive to the menu pack.
Can I swap one recipe in a menu for another?
Yes. Tap any item and pick a substitute from the catalog. The menu adjusts the shopping list and the timing sheet automatically.
What if I have a smaller or larger party?
Each menu scales between 6 and 12 servings. Set the headcount and the recipe quantities, shopping list, and timing all recalculate.
Do menus include allergen swaps?
Yes. Speakeater's allergen profile carries through to menu mode. If a guest is gluten-free or nut-allergic, the menu surfaces substitutions on the affected recipes.
What about dietary themes (vegetarian, low-alcohol, etc.)?
Some of the 50 launch menus are themed (e.g. Vegetarian Brunch, Zero-Proof Cocktail Hour). The full list shows up in the app catalog at launch.
